About Partyrobics®

“When sound runs in your veins and melody infect your body cells, the beat becomes a heartbeat. Partyrobics® is like listening to the music with your full body”

Partyrobics® is a disco-fitness group class concept in a clubbing atmosphere: dark interior, party lights, and energetic remixes of commercial, recent music hits. It offers you everything: an intense full-body workout, dancing, clubbing, expression, liberation, and joy.

About Partyrobics®

There are two types of Partyrobics®: Cardio-Dance and Body-Shape.

About Partyrobics®

The Partyrobics® Body Shape includes much more muscle training exercise that are mixed with exciting vibes taken from disco-fitness. This is a perfect combination as you accumulate enthusiasm and overwhelming emotional high in dances moments and push it to squats, arms, or abs exercises at the other parts of the class.

Since workout results are directly connected with the intensity of energy that is being used for a movement, execution of muscle training is incomparably stronger than in a regular workout. Though it feels effortless. You can do a squat with full energy, engaging your whole body energy, or you can perform a more restricted movement with a limited energy push. The construction of the Partyrobics Body Shape makes you go in all movements fully, without extra effort.

Exercises included in the format tackling all muscles groups and end up with mat training by the end of the class.

About Partyrobics®

The Partyrobics® Cardio-Dance format is around 15 non-stop disco-fitness, easy choreographies to the current radio anthems with a touch of different styles. The disco-fitness is a more accurate replacement of the dance-fitness term, as the simple moves are having a powerful emotional load, and are combined with releasing tension jump-and-go-wild clubbing moments. It’s something that most of the other dance-fitness concepts aren’t focusing on. For Partyrobics® this liberating going out vibe and deep connection with music energy is crucial, even though our dances have aerobics simplicity.

Mission

Partyrobics® mission is to help people both, work out and heal/clean their bodies from gathered in their system emotional traumas in one go and in a pleasurable way.

Therefore, reforming the entire fitness and dance industry globally to enforce more holistic thinking based on mind-body-energy connection is our ambition.

Partyrobics® follows Body Expressive Method and its main component, The 4 Energy Flows Theory.

Body Expressive Method

Body Expressive Method is a dance and fitness teaching method created and elaborated over a decade, from 2012 onwards. It has been developed by Katarzyna Mortoń, a polish artist, fitness instructor, choreographer and entrepreneur with a record of experience in Human Rights capacity buildings.

The fundamental idea of this method is that body expression and release on music is central to any workout or dance routine. This way, the focus is shifted from traditional teaching tools such as counting steps, technical explanations or sometimes even using mirrors, to body awareness, expressively and “living” the music.

The Body Expressive Method’s approach is to take away the attention from the way a body looks like (or is perceived in the society) and instead focus on a body’s expressiveness and livefulness. When making this mindshift, participants (and particularly women) are liberatingly living and enjoying their body in dance, which is further translated into a transformation of their being and attitude in their daily life.

About the founder

Kate (Katarzyna Mortoń) is a Sport and Fitness instructor certified by the Ministry of Sport and Recreation of Poland. She has been teaching all kinds of group lessons (strength, endurance, cardio, power, creative sessions, calm and dynamic) and she has been leading personal trainings since 2006 in Poland, England and Belgium. She does this next to her other professional activities related to media, journalism and civil society. From 2012, she has also been teaching dance classes. Her experience is comprehensive and her philosophy is holistic: she believes that all different motions of the body (training) are complementary to each other. She looks at motion in a multidisciplinary way and emphasises the importance of the psychological aspects of training and self-care and how these affect your energy. She is the founder and CEO of Partyrobics Fitness, an international dance-clubbing-fitness brand, as well as of the Chair Dance Express concept. Kate coached/trained over 200 instructors in various classes, including her own concepts (dance and fitness) and regular fitness concepts, while growing a network of instructors. She also works with dancers and fitness instructors and introduces them to the Body Expressive Methodologies she created (4 Energy Flows Theory, Deepening Teaching Method, etc.), that take away the attention from steps/performance and focus on the transition of energy and an inner feeling of motion. Her concepts are at the moment taught on 25 locations in 3 countries. She has worked with important dance and sport organizations such as International Formula Windsurfing, Sport Vlaanderen, De Gymnastiekfederatie Vlaanderen (GymFed) and the Dance League of Belgium. Her projects were extensively covered by media including ELLE, Flair Magazine, Het Laatste Nieuws, Notelle TV, RTL Radio, the Belgium’s Got Talent Show, as well as the Canadian Metro and radio shows. She delivered team-building workshops and body confidence sessions to some of the biggest Belgian companies (Telenet, Ikea, Partena), organised non-profit events for youth and women and voiced herself on matters of body confidence in public debates.
